- ADR SpA and ADR Security – a change-management story (part 2)
Synopsis: In less than two years ADR Security has achieved a 50% reduction in waiting time at security checkpoints for passengers and their hand baggage (from 14 to less than seven minutes), drastically increasing passenger satisfaction. This presentation describes the help received by IATA in leveraging the experience of other airports, and the most important lessons learned in the process.

Speaker Biography: Riccardo is the Managing Director of ADR Security, the security company of Aeroporti di Roma. He joined the group four years ago as Responsible for Fiumicino Operations. Prior to ADR he spent 10 years in consulting (organisation, management assessment and search). Previously he was a Manager in the Fochi Group, a major engineering and construction group active in the chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. Before that, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, where he worked on strategic and operations projects in the industrial sector. He started his career as Project Manager on civil engineering projects in Saudi Arabia. Riccardo earned his graduate degree in Civil Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and his MBA at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. |
