Stephane Cheikh, Innovation Manager, SITA Lab, Switzerland

Speaker Biograghy: Stephane is Innovation Manager at SITA Lab, based in Geneva, where he manages several technology research projects for the airline and airport industry. He has led new innovations such as the first social network booking engine (Facebook application for airline booking and check-in online), the first airport wi-fi passenger geo-localisation (two patents pending), and the first wearable-computing proof of concept in the travel industry. Stephane is currently working on a few other airline and airport technology trials and proofs of concept, including wearable computing for airport operations, NFC to improve passenger flow in the airport, and some Big Data and predictive analytic initiatives. Stephane holds a Harvard University graduate Certificate in Applied Sciences & Information Systems, and an undergraduate degree in Economics/Management from the University of Montreal.
