Muhsin Tamer Özdemir, Manager (Corporate Assets), Ministry of Defence Undersecretariat for Defence Industries, Turkey

Speaker Biograghy: M. Tamer Özdemir received his MSc in Construction Management from Middle East Technical University, and holds an MBA from Hacettepe University. He is Corporate Assets Manager in the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) and is also responsible for the planning and development of the Advanced Technology Industrial Park and Airport (ATIP) Project conducted by SSM in Istanbul, Turkey, which includes Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) as the main element. He led the project for the Construction of SAW New Terminal Building and ancillary facilities in BOT model. He also worked on the preparation of the master plan of ATIP and SAW as an airport city, as well as the preliminary design studies of its second runway. Personal fact: He has won several awards in nationwide architectural competitions of various scales in Turkey, and is a bass player in a local rock band.
