ADR Security - Aeroporti di Roma

Speaker Biograghy: Riccardo is the Managing Director of ADR Security, the security company of Aeroporti di Roma. He joined the group four years ago as Responsible for Fiumicino Operations. Prior to ADR he spent 10 years in consulting (organisation, management assessment and search). Previously he was a Manager in the Fochi Group, a major engineering and construction group active in the chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. Before that, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, where he worked on strategic and operations projects in the industrial sector. He started his career as Project Manager on civil engineering projects in Saudi Arabia. Riccardo earned his graduate degree in Civil Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and his MBA at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

Synopsis: In less than two years ADR Security has achieved a 50% reduction in the waiting time at security checkpoints for passengers and their hand baggage (from 14 to less than seven minutes), drastically increasing passenger perception. This presentation describes the major steps undertaken to achieve the goal set by ADR top management and the most important lessons learned in the process. The security project will be put in perspective of the requalification effort of ADR.
