Speaker Biograghy: Since 2002, Shigeru Uno has been involved in the field of aviation security, offering his expertise in establishing the foundations for aviation security in Japan. He also developed the security training system at Narita Airport and successfully raised the level of security awareness. He participates enthusiastically in education and training activities at regional airports in Japan and at airports in Asia. In 2010 he was seconded for two years to the Aviation Security Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). He also took part in hosting the ASEAN-Japan security meeting and attended meetings of ICAO working groups and APEC as a representative for Japan, exhibiting his exceptional abilities as an aviation security expert. Now he is a member of ACI World Security Standing Committee.

Synopsis: Anyone involved in the field of aviation security stresses the importance of security training. But at the same time everyone knows there is only a handful of efficient training courses. It is easy to say but hard to do. This presentation will discuss effective training and will introduce various trials.
