Speaker Biograghy: Jean-François La Manna is currently working at ANTS as Expert Project Director. ANTS is the French authority for secure documents, which acts as a central agency under the supervision of the French Ministry of Interior with a wide range of responsibilities for issuance of secure documents among other ministries and agencies. Previously worked for the French Network and Information Security Agency, where he coordinated a team composed of 50+ engineers at the French Prime Minister Cyberdefence Center, and for the Ministry of Interior for more than 20 years. For many years he worked as an IT specialist in the telco sector and in a worldwide financial group as Group Telecom Manager. He first began his professional career as a French Gendarmerie Officer. Throughout his professional experience he has developed a dedicated acumen for solutions used in the field of homeland security and digital identity.

10:20 - 10:45 - From evidence of identification to improved border management
Synopsis: As aviation safety involves key stakeholders, usually different ministries, a strong need for a cross-ministerial way of cooperation is needed. ANTS adopts the ICAO TRIP Strategy and Programme, and as a holistic agency in coordination with stakeholders among French ministries and civil aviation, the ANTS will set forth examples of cooperation between various entities in order to achieve best performance, safety and facilitation in passenger and citizen identification. One of the examples given with the French Border Police will relate to the French Automated Border Control Programme.
