Speaker Biograghy: Dimitris is VP of Customer Experience at Iberia. During the last eight years he has been involved in many of the technological and innovative developments in the airport and customer service fields. He worked as Iberia’s Ground Ops Deputy Director at Madrid, and before his current position he was Iberia’s Head of Coordination and Hub Development. Dimitris is a Civil Engineer with an MBA and PDD from the IESE Business School. He has 12 years of experience within the transport and aviation sectors. He began his career as a consultant in the public transport sector, and was involved in international projects in Mexico and Afghanistan, supported by governments and international institutions. Dimitris worked at ALG (subsidiary of Indra) as a Senior Consultant, and gained extensive experience in aviation, which was applied as a Senior Consultant to the operational readiness of all of Iberia’s operations in T4 at Madrid Airport.

Synopsis: The penetration of mobile technology is embracing all sectors and countries. Mobile solutions have grown more in Spain than in other areas; the development of touchless technologies for the airline and airport industries is an increasingly requested necessity for all kinds of customers. This presentation will offer a detailed compilation of the potential use cases of updated and standardised NFC technology throughout the entire customer journey, with the aim of creating seamless travel in all airport ecosystems.
