Jacqueline has been the Deputy Executive Director of Operations, Emergency Management and Maintenance for Los Angeles World Airports for the past five years. Prior to LAX she worked for 10 years in different capacities at Denver International Airport. Jacqueline has been a key leader in enhancing the emergency management programme at LAX, promoting effective communication, and competent response and recovery programmes.

- Effective recovery planning and continuity of operations
Synopsis: Airports must focus as part of their emergency management on recovery techniques and planning. This presentation will explain the effective ways of recovery planning. It will discuss the essential tools, logistics, training and personnel necessary for a successful recovery programme. Airports also need to identify gaps and barriers to effective recovery. The essential elements: effective communication, passenger care supplies, evacuation sites, disability requirements. Los Angeles World Airports will share its recovery planning efforts by creating customer care teams, acquiring supplies and communication tools.
