Speaker Biograghy: Robert is an emeritus member of the HOK Board of Directors, and currently sits on the HOK Management Board. His core expertise is in the leadership, management and delivery of large-scale airport projects. Projects include terminals at JFK International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, Salt Lake City Airport, and the new Coronel H. Weir Cook International Airport in Indianapolis. Robert’s experience in building strong collaborative relationships between his clients and members of large, multi-disciplinary project teams has resulted in numerous successful projects and very satisfied clientele.

Synopsis: The increasing popularity of design/build projects and the emergence of public-private partnerships (P3) as credible alternative delivery methods is, in a number of important ways, redefining the way in which A/E teams interface and collaborate with the builder(s). The ability of all these entities to adapt themselves to the fully integrated delivery mindset can be the difference between success and failure. This session will focus on some key considerations in this regard, and on the teaming characteristics that such projects require.
