Speaker Biograghy: Paolo studied Mechanical Engineering at Palermo University. He began his career in the Maintenance and Design department at Monrif Group. After two years he moved to Fiat Group as Field Engineer. He is now Operations Director at Bologna Airport.

Synopsis: The evolution of technology has enabled the creation of solutions that can address and resolve many issues. Everyone knows that loss of baggage is one of the events that most negatively affects the customer experience. With Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology it is possible to realise a community-based tracking baggage system in an extremely simple way and without significant investment. The use of an app that uses social logic to connect passengers also allows the limitations in the diffusion of the infrastructure to be overcome, further contributing to the diffusion of the solution.
