As Director of Innovative Travel Solutions for the Vancouver Airport Authority, Paul works extensively with numerous stakeholders including all levels of government, where his efforts are aimed at gaining approval to simplify passenger processes.
At present, Paul is leading a dedicated team tasked with the development and commercialisation of YVR’s automated border solutions. Paul conceived of, designed and implemented this industry-leading initiative in partnership with US CBP, which is now known as Automated Passport Control. APC has been referred to as a game changer and now Paul is developing a platform to integrate this process and related technology, with essentially any border agency in the world.
Paul is a Certified Member of the International Association of Airport Executives (I-AAE) and an active participant on numerous industry committees.
