Speaker Biograghy: Dr Pieter van der Horst MRE MSc MRICS is responsible for the development of the landside part of the Airport City at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. His other projects, as Developer or Project Director, at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol have been the realisation of the new General Aviation Terminal, the area development of Schiphol Aerospace Exchange, a station for high-speed buses and several airport-related offices and hotels. In the past he worked as CEO for a construction company in The Netherlands and as Developer for commercial development companies. He has been a guest lecturer for ACI courses on non-aviation revenues and has written several articles about sustainable area development. Pieter studied Urban Economics at the University of Amsterdam, Financial Management at the Vrije University and did a Master's in Real Estate at ASRE.
