David Perroud, CEO, m1nd-set, Switzerland

Speaker Biograghy: David is co-owner and CEO of M1nd-Set, a global research agency specialised in travel, which he jointly created with Dr Peter Mohn in January 2007. Prior to setting up M1nd-Set, he was Chief Operating Officer of P. Robert and Partners (PRP), at that time a 150+ employees research agency in Morges, Switzerland. David benefits from 25 years of extensive experience in global research – including 20 years specialising in travel research. He is often requested as a keynote speaker at travel industry conferences (ITB Berlin, IATA Airline Research Forums, Travolution, ESOMAR Leisure and World Congress 2008). Together with Prof. Daniel Ray he won an ESOMAR prize (best paper at the first leisure conference) for their innovative statistical methods of finding key satisfaction drivers. David specialises in airline research, travel retail, customer satisfaction, segmentation and agent-based models. He led his team to win the Michel Beattig Prize for the international success of the global airline satisfaction benchmarks in 1991. Nowadays, through M1nd-Set, he still leads Airs@t, the largest airline satisfaction benchmark (in partnership with IATA). David holds an Executive MBA from Rochester University (NY) and a BA in Marketing from ESM (École Supérieure de Management), Geneva.
