Speaker Biograghy: Giovanni has a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Bologna University. He has worked in management consulting and information technology since 1989, leading several important projects related to organisational design and technological innovation. He has been responsible for product management, business development, marketing and communication. In 2013 he joined Logital Group to develop the business's advanced technology solutions for airports. Now he is Chief Operating Officer of Airlogs, the Logital Group company focused on the airport industry.

Synopsis: The evolution of technology has enabled the creation of solutions that can address and resolve many issues. Everyone knows that loss of baggage is one of the events that most negatively affects the customer experience. With Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology it is possible to realise a community-based tracking baggage system in an extremely simple way and without significant investment. The use of an app that uses social logic to connect passengers also allows the limitations in the diffusion of the infrastructure to be overcome, further contributing to the diffusion of the solution.
