As Service & Quality Manager at Billund Airport Operations, Lone has responsibility for the internal quality system. KPIs are being maintained and the processing of the quality material is well documented. She is also Key Account Manager for a number of the airlines operating at Billund Airport.
Billund Airport Operations is a daughter company of Billund Airport. It handles around 45 airlines and employs 370 staff.
Lone graduated as a Forwarder in 1994. In 1996 she got her private pilot licence and in 1997 she worked at Thule Air Base in Greenland as Airport Superintendent. In the period 2000 -2002 she was Team Leader at Novia, Copenhagen Airport. Since 2002 Lone has been employed at Billund Airport, where she also takes part in many transversal projects at the airport.

- Self-service bag drop and automation of baggage handling
Synopsis: Tagging and dropping of bags by the passenger at check-in. Fully automated delivery of bags on arrival.
Audience will learn:
- Let the passengers bag their own bags
- Handling of bags on the ramp without manual lifting
- Higher capacity in the check-in area and in the baggage sorting area
