Corneel Koster, Chief Operating Officer, Aeromexico, Mexico

Speaker Biograghy: As COO of Grupo Aeroméxico, Corneel is overall responsible for the operational, maintenance performance, service design and delivery of Mexico's leading global airline group, operating 650 flights a day. He also oversees Aeroméxico's cargo and ground handling subsidiaries. Corneel has a wealth of international leadership experience in the airline industry in senior operational as well as commercial roles held at Aeroméxico, Virgin Atlantic, KLM, KLM Cargo, Air France KLM and a ground handling subsidiary. He previously served as Virgin Atlantic’s Director of Operations, Safety and Security. Corneel has a huge passion for delivering an excellent customer experience, while continuously strengthening operational performance and teamwork. Corneel obtained an MSc in Business Administration at Groningen University in the Netherlands in 1997.

Synopsis: Together with airlines, (Aeromexico/Delta/Skyteam), airport and consulting colleagues, the panel will consider the new Mexico Airport development and the opportunity it provides to build a new 21st century airport. Panellists will discuss their separate interpretations of how a new airport will operate, and review this in terms of the physical manifestation of the new Mexico Airport. Panellists will use graphics to demonstrate their interpretations.
