Speaker Biograghy: Stanley specialises in process flows and operations planning for airports. With over nine years’ experience in the aviation industry and an operations research background, he applies quantitative and qualitative analyses to projects for a variety of clients including airports, government agencies, transportation and tourism. His work encompasses border facilitation, new concept development and transportation security. Stanley holds an MSc in Operations Research from the University of British Columbia and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.

Synopsis: Ensuring Calgary International Airport’s new terminal efficiently facilitates all types of connections between the various sectors at the airport (domestic, international, and US transborder) is a unique challenge. The team has had to plan for passenger and baggage connections with multiple governmental agencies, airlines and stakeholders despite dynamic and uncertain regulations and policies. The end result will be a new state-of-the-art international/US terminal that is adaptable for all connections, which is slated to open in October 2016.
