Speaker Biograghy: Yuichi has been with Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) for more than 21 years. During that time he has been involved in wide aspects of airport operation and management, the management and operation of passenger terminal buildings, the formulation and supervision of shopping mall layout blueprints for airports, operations management and many other areas. He has vast overseas business experience and an extensive network of personal contacts among overseas airport operators and airport-related organisations. He was in charge of NAA's activities in the Airports Council International (ACI). With his vast background, Yuichi has extensive knowledge and experience of airport operation and management.

11:40 - 12:05 - New LCC terminal: cost-saving, efficiency and improved passenger experience
Synopsis: Terminal 3 (T3), a new LCC terminal at Narita Airport, opened in April 2015, and five LCCs operate there. In the diversifying LCC business models all over the world, T3 plays a significant role for LCCs not only to save costs and operate with efficiency but also to introduce exciting passenger spaces such as next-generation terminals. The presentation will provide unique concepts at T3 and hints for airports to capture the needs of passengers and LCCs for future terminal construction and airport operation.
