Speaker Biograghy: James works for a US subsidiary company of Schiphol Group and has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Aruba Airport Authority since September 2014. Prior to working in Aruba, he was the Chief Operating Officer at JFK Airport’s Terminal 4, and was part of the transition team in 1997, when Schiphol was the successful bidder for the privatisation of JFK Airport’s International Arrivals Building; at the time this was the largest airport privatisation project in the USA. Prior to joining the Schiphol team, James worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in various airport operations positions, including assignments at each of the NY area major airports. He has nearly 30 years’ experience in airport management, is a commercial pilot, and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Synopsis: Happy Flow is the first 100% self-service passenger flow based on biometrics. The award-winning initiative is reshaping the passenger experience, and marks the onset of a new era for aviation.
