Speaker Biograghy:
Wolfgang Pelzer holds a PhD in High Energy Physics. He has been working in the IT department of airport operator Fraport AG since 1997 as Vice President. He is responsible for application development and maintenance of ERP, disposition and management information systems. His team is providing a broad range of airport management solutions. They are considered pioneers in utilizing big data in the airport field developing optimization and forecast systems. Besides his duties at Frankfurt Airport Wolfgang is Managing Director of AirITSystems GmbH, a joint venture of Fraport AG and Flughafen Hannover-Langenhagen GmbH, providing full range IT Services at airports and other industries. Wolfgang is an active triathlete Wolfgang and enjoys crossing the Alps with his mountain bike as a way to relax and re-charge batteries for new challenges.
