Speaker Biograghy: Andy is a qualified Electronic Engineer with 30 years' experience within the aviation industry, which has included planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of airport infrastructure. He specialises in system integration, and is currently responsible for the Manchester Airport Building Management System, which under his guidance has been migrated from standalone proprietary systems to a highly integrated BACnet open protocol solution. He is part of the Utilities and Energy team, and has provided robust control systems that underpin the successful site-wide energy reduction programmes. The Manchester Airport Utilities and Energy team have delivered energy savings in excess of 30% (>200Gwhr) from 2007 to present, while passenger traffic has increased by approximately 30%.
