Speaker Biograghy: Paul is an Engineer, Chartered Energy Manager and Regional Director at Faithful+Gould, with nearly 20 years’ experience in delivering energy efficiency through projects and programmes both in the UK and abroad. Paul has delivered major carbon management programmes for the UK's premier energy efficiency programme, as well as working with large commercial and industrial organisations to reduce their environmental impacts through better management of energy and developing energy efficiency projects. Paul is responsible for tracking the energy consumption of asset replacement projects that form the Q6 asset replacement programme at Heathrow Airport. Personal fact: Paul enjoys cooking and home brewing, and running to negate the effects of his other two hobbies.

12:30 - 13:00 - Energy efficiency – maximising value from asset replacement
Synopsis: As part of Heathrow’s strategic aim to become the World’s Most Sustainable Airport, understanding the impact of energy consumption by plant and equipment is key. Throughout the asset replacement programmes that Heathrow is carrying out, the impact on energy consumption is fully assessed and projects are developed where possible to minimise the impact of energy consumption. Paul’s presentation discusses the drivers and opportunities, the approaches and the impacts of minimising energy consumption through asset replacement programmes.
