Federico Patiño, Director General, GACM, Mexico

Speaker Biograghy: Federico holds a Law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is CEO of the GACM, which is in charge of financing, building and operating Mexico City’s New International Airport, Latin America’s largest infrastructure project and the most ambitious Mexican government project of the last decades. Federico coordinated the placement of airport groups on the stock market. He was also responsible for financing Mexico City International Airport’s Terminal 2, and the privatisation of a MXN$44bn Highway Trust package. In 2008, he was commissioned to the creation of the National Infrastructure Fund and designated as Director of Investment Banking responsible for the financial structuring of infrastructure PPPs. From 2013 to September 2015 he served as Director of Finance for the GACM, where he implemented financing for MXN$3bn revolving credit line, the largest sum in corporate bonds to date for Latin American infrastructure projects.
