Speaker Biograghy: Don has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. He started in retail sales management with The Hudson’s Bay Company in Montreal, and then moved to merchandising, management and sales roles with prominent major North American organisations in eastern Canada. He started in airports in 1990 in Calgary under Transport Canada, bringing a private-sector perspective to the airport’s commercial evolvement under the Canadian airports’ 1992 privatisation initiative. He is currently Director, Commercial & Retail Development for the Calgary Airport Authority. Personal fact: Don enjoys the Calgary lifestyle, and he takes full advantage of golf and alpine skiing opportunities whenever possible on the same day!
