Marion White, Regional Leader - Aviation + Transportation, HOK, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Marion is an architect with over 30 years' experience in programming, planning, design and project management for new construction and renovations of a variety of project types including airport terminals, retail, healthcare and elder-care facilities. For the last 20 years she has specialised in the airport design sector and is the Eastern USA Regional Leader for HOK’s Aviation + Transportation practice based in the firm’s New York office. She has served as Senior Planner and Project Manager for a wide range of major airport terminal projects globally. She has led the programming and planning for many of HOK's airport projects, including Lambert St. Louis East Terminal, Washington Dulles Midfield Terminal, London Heathrow Terminal 5, Indianapolis International Airport and Boston Logan Terminal A. In her role as Planning Principal, Marion is still actively involved in the new Terminal B redevelopment project at LaGuardia Airport.

16:25 - 17:35 - Panel Discussion: New York's LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Programme
Synopsis: LaGuardia Airport has been the focus of redevelopment for many years. In 2015 the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey selected LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP) as preferred bidder for the Terminal B redevelopment. The project delivery strategy is structured as a public/private partnership, pairing developers, financiers, builders, architects and engineers with the public sector. The mission is to redefine the LaGuardia Airport experience and deliver a world-class airport. This session will present the project, discuss the internal P3 team dynamic, and address the importance of collaboration and teaming with the public sector.
