Kristi McKenney, Assistant Director of Aviation, Oakland International Airport, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Kristi is the primary executive responsible for the day-to-day operation of Oakland International Airport (OAK). Previously, she was the Aviation Planning and Development Manager leading OAK’s capital programme, in which she managed and coordinated the planning, stakeholder engagement, design, financing and implementation of over US$600m in major OAK projects, including participation in issuance of revenue bonds. She previously served as a consultant to airport management on major airport physical and environmental planning and development projects. Kristi holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a BSc in Aeronautical Operations (Business minor) from San Jose State University. She is a selected panellist on the Airport Cooperative Research Program, serves on Transportation Research Board committees, and is currently Chair of the Airports Council International World Environment Committee.
