Speaker Biograghy: Ronald joined KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in 1996. He is responsible for the team dealing with the management of all the company's international security matters, including overflights risk assessments and corporate business risks. He is a member of the Air France-KLM Security Management Team and previous Chairman (2007-2012), and is now a senior member of the SkyTeam Aviation Security Group. He is Chairman of the Platform Unruly Passengers, a senior multi-discipline public-private platform consisting of police, lawmakers, labor unions and airlines. He is also Vice Chairman of the Anti-Drugs Taskforce in the Caribbean. He also holds other advisory positions for international GOs and NGOs. He started his career in law enforcement and intelligence and had several leading positions in related organisations in The Netherlands and on international missions, including during the Bosnian War in the 1990s in the former Yugoslavia.
