Eleena Yegorova, AVSEC Manager, Aeroflot - Russian Airlines, Russia

Speaker Biograghy: Eleena N. Yegorova is a Security Manager of Aeroflot Russian Airlines (SU), responsible for the relevant working contacts between SU and IATA, TSA, Sky Team Alliance, Russian Association of Air Carriers and CIS Airports’ Association. She joined the airline in 1998 and has been with its corporate Security & Facilitation department since 1999. Eleena graduated from Moscow State University named after Mikhail V. Lomonosov, with a PhD in Philosophy. She is the author of several articles published in different professional magazines, including Aviation Security International.

Synopsis: SU uses a unique breed of dogs named after its creator – Soviet professor Klim T. Soulimov ('Soulimov’s dogs') – which is a hybrid of the laika (Siberian version of the husky) and the jackal. Professor Soulimov is scientific leader of the SU K9 project, and his younger colleagues are continuing to work on the development of the breed.
